HIGHWAY, the Endowment Dawg...
Meet "Highway" the Endowment Dawg,
Savannah Lodge's official meeter, greeter and honorary member. Highway is always ready to collect dollars
from anyone willing to donate to the "Endowment Fund". Just place your dollars into his collar and the
monies collected will go to the "Endowment Fund" at Moose International. Highway is invited to the mens meetings
where he walks around and collects extra endowment funds over and above what goes into the cradle. It seems that there
is never a lack of dollars for Highways collar.
Highway got his name by being found on the side of the highway a few years back by Savannah Lodge member, Marvin Kempa. When Marvin and Highway visit the lodge, Highway goes to meet and greet whomever is coming in the door of the lodge with a friendly wag of his tail. And if you just so happen want to put a dollar into his collar, he will proudly carry it around for everyone to see until it is retreived for the Endowment Fund. So the next time you visit the Savannah Lodge, look for Highway and make a donation for our kids and seniors at Mooseheart and Moosehaven.
