Moose Legionnaire, Don Gilmer, is from Henry County Lodge #2170. Don joined the Lodge in 1986 and the Moose Legion in 1990.

Don became active in the Lodge and Moose Legion and earned his Fellowship Degree, served as Moose Legion Activities Chairman of his lodge, was selected As Georgia’s Moose Legionnaire of the Year, was Moose Legion President of Chattahoochee Valley #130. He is a Past Governor of Henry County Lodge, a member of the 75 Division of the 25 Club; the 50 Division of the Moose Legion and a lifetime member of the Georgia Higher Degree Association, and received the Moose Legion of Honor award.

Don and his wife, Edna resides in McDonough, GA where she is active in Henry County Chapter #1115.

Don has been appointed to serve Georgia as the International Moose Legion Ambassador for the term of 2009-2010.
